coldplay commentary

Fix You.  It may be one of the best songs of the year, if not for the past several years.  There's something quite simple about it at first listen, but when you get down to the depths of the song it's rather powerful.  Maybe that's the beauty of it.  You knew it was going to be a hot song, and eventually it would find its way on the big screen.

But King Kong?  Have you seen the new teasers?  Yeah, I know I haven't seen the film yet so I shouldn't make a snap judgement.  Supposedly the film is even surprisingly touching and hey, maybe it is.  There's just something not right about one of the most thoughtful songs of the year being in, well, a monster movie.
